Debbie Gonzalez Canada

During her PhD, Debbie researched participation in digital citizen science in the School of Agriculture, Food and Ecosystem Sciences. She investigated how digital technologies shape participation in  knowledge production and the (knowledge and data care) practices of volunteers monitoring biodiversity. Debbie has a background in communication and cultural studies, and she is engaging with STS, digital sociology, and digital ethnography. She is part of The Waterway Ecosystem Research Group.
